Anna Silk, born January 31st, 1974 in Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada is an actress popular for her portrayal of Bo in the Showcase program Lost Girl. Silk was produced in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. She is the daughter of Peter who was a scholar, and Ilkay Silk, a prominent actor, director, educator, playwright as well as Director of Drama of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna has some of her earliest memories of going to rehearsals for plays. Silk created a variety of commercials when she was still young. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Arts at St. Thomas University in 1997. In 2009, they were married in a civil ceremony in December of 2009. In April of 2011, they renew their vows during a Jewish ceremony in Fredericton following her conversion to Judaism. Silk Cooperman had a baby boy, her son, Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May 2013. The second son of hers, Levi Aaron was born on May 13 2016. Silk is best known for her television role as Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009 she was awarded a nomination by for the Gemini Awards. Silk was cast as Bo Dennis, a succubus in the Canadian TV series Lost Girl in 2009. Silk was pregnant when she was shooting the finale of the third season. Silk announced her pregnancy to fans during the Showcase Season Three pre-show special on January 6, 2013. Silk tweeted on June 20, 2013 to announce that she was ready to return to working. On June 4, 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially revealed the launch of final season of the series. CNN has ranked Bo's performance with Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most watched TV couples ever. E! Magazine also declared it to be one of the top couples on TV in 2013.
